Training
Looking great as a latter goal, training is all about getting your body prepped and ready to handle day to day chores and stresses. The body is designed to perform various physical functions and actions like carrying itself over long distances-walking- or moving from one point to another at quick speeds-sprinting-carrying heavy burdens over long or short distances-carrying grocery bags or a baby or shifting heavy loads over short distances-rearranging furniture.
The body doesn’t grow strong overnight to adapt to these situations. It
has to be trained, for strength and endurance and its stamina has to be
built. This can be achieved by training using the appropriate training
disciplines.
At summatefitness.org, we primarily promote the three disciplines:
At summatefitness.org, we primarily promote the three disciplines:
• Weight/Resistance training - For Musculoskeletal strength and endurance
• Cardiovascular training - For conditioning of the cardiac muscles the nervous systems and he respiratory systems.
• Yoga - For improving body flexibility, reset breathing pattern and overall internal bodily well-being.

• Yoga - For improving body flexibility, reset breathing pattern and overall internal bodily well-being.
The reason we have chosen these disciplines as our primary training
modules is because, these three require little to no skills. They are
all about improving in performance. For example: Weight training
requires good form, otherwise the weights move only in a specific range
and path. The only thing changing with time is the amount of weight
lifted with the improvement in your strength and endurance.
But, other forms of training like kickboxing, Pilates and the likes shall also be discussed.
